2. No concrete guide. Another reason why people fail to make money online is because they do not follow any concrete guide on how to do this. On the other hand, there are plenty of ebooks and courses that offer guides, but most of them are just filled with fluff. They can give you hundreds of instructions, but most of them are nothing but page fillers. Other times, the processes are too difficult to follow so it discourages people even before they start.

3. Competing with the big guys! If you’re getting started, its almost impossible to make money by competing against people who are twenty times more experienced than you. If you are just getting started and trying to sell internet marketing products, as an affiliate, as a product creator, using seo, using ppc, whatever the method, entering a market where everyone else is better than you is going to ensure you fail. Even entering other markets is futile, dog training, acne, pregnancy… they seem like niche markets but they are nothing of the sort.

Those who succeed in the business know who their audiences are. These people also know how to penetrate the tiny but income generating pockets of the Internet. They target specific people with specific needs and that’s how most of them end up making money online.

The bottom line is, even though there are gazillions of ebooks, courses or tutorials lining up online, and most of them not working at all. It is still possible to make money off the Internet. Achieving success is possible as long as you set your mind to it and follow the right approach. Making a ton of cash can be your reality even if you’re just sitting at home and staring at the computer screen.
